Jessica Cross
Director of Health & Wellness
Jessica Cross has over two decades in the health management care continuum, from pediatrics to end of life care. Jessica started her journey caring for her grandparents, who taught her dignity and integrity are deserved at all ages. Through her work, Jessica continues to advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves.
You will often find Jessica speaking with residents, their families and/or team members at Spring Mill. Seeking daily improvements for all through a positive, moving forward mindset.
Jessica has worked within personal care, assisted living and skilled care community settings, as well as Hospital to Regional Programing accreditation areas. Jessica was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, graduating from Harrisburg Area Community College and Penn State University. She went on to gain her science and healthcare management degrees, in addition to her Personal Care and Assisted Living administration certifications. Jessica enjoys keeping up to date in the education realm and continues on her path, seeking a Master’s in leadership and diversity. Jessica has specialized in process & quality improvement planning and implementation as well as healthcare programming and program education initiatives, changes, and implementation of processes.
Outside of work, Jessica keeps busy with her four children. She enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, finding waterfalls and boating. When time allows, Jessica enjoys a good impromptu day trip, sporting event, and music concert. In the winter, you will find her serving the homeless in her local community and coaching Girls on The Run, in Spring & Fall.
Jessica manages the healthcare department here at Spring Mill. She takes pride in our staff and how they serve our community members. Providing monthly education and opportunities for improvement or advancement for all, she appreciates receiving constructive feedback to improve our community to be the best it can be.
